Nevzat Basaran's connection to photography began with a simple fascination: the ability to freeze a moment in time. Nevzat's work has been recognized at the highest levels of the craft. He is an FEP Silver Camera Award winner, a DFF Gold Medal winner, and has been named DFF Photographer of the Year in Denmark. His advice for aspiring photographers reflects the same philosophy that guides his own practice: "Photograph as much as you can. Be curious, slow down, and learn to see before you press the shutter. Don't chase gear, chase better vision. Every photograph teaches you something, and every subject has potential if you're willing to look closely."
