Nicolai is a visual producer and photographer based in Odense, Denmark. He started as a photojournalist and is driven by the desire to create compelling storytelling through his lens. In addition to his professional work, Nicolai is a Sony Europe Imaging Ambassador.
Photography and video have been part of Nicolai's life since age 13, when he first knew it was what he wanted to do for a living. His photojournalism background is visible in all his work, from documentaries to commercial projects. For Nicolai, stories are everything, and he's inspired by people who have genuine passion for what they do.
His advice for aspiring photographers? "You need to have the passion and do your own projects even if you get paid gigs. All my professional progress and creative development come from my personal projects."
