Agata Tkaczyk is a Polish nature photographer and Sudetes mountain guide with a special passion for macro and wildlife photography. Her photographic journey began in 2010 at the age of 14, when she picked up her first basic digital camera and started exploring the world through its lens. Without formal training, she learned by doing, absorbing knowledge from books, online tutorials, and photography forums, where supportive feedback helped refine her eye and craft.

Over the years Agata experimented with various styles of photography, from weddings to portraits and landscapes, before discovering her true calling in macro work. Her approach focuses on what lies just beneath our feet, capturing the quiet, intricate beauty of mosses, lichens, insects, and fungi hidden in nature’s undergrowth. Rather than seeking grand vistas, she finds fulfillment in revealing tiny worlds that often go unnoticed.

Agata’s photography is shaped by her deep connection to the forest and her second passion, painting. She frequently begins with an imagined scene on canvas, then sets out into nature to find its real counterpart, blending creativity with observation. Her work encourages others to slow down, shift their perspective, and notice the remarkable details that surround us every day.

She dreams of publishing her own photo album dedicated to the mysteries of the forest floor, not as a scientific guide but as a visual narrative that shows how extraordinary and colorful the nearby world can be when viewed with care and curiosity.
