Over 14 years ago, I got my first DSLR camera. It was a basic one with an 18–55mm kit lens. I felt like the world was mine. I started to take wedding photos for my friends and family. I made many mistakes, but I didn’t stop. I wanted to learn more about photography.
With that first camera, I often went to the University of Gdańsk library. I read many books about photography. To buy a better DSLR, I sold my first car and took a small loan from the bank. I wanted to be a good photographer and have better tools for wedding work.

My hard work gave results. For a few years, I had many weddings booked. Then I discovered something new — studio photography. When I started to work with flash, I felt it was my place. Now I teach studio lighting workshops with my photography partner. Together we run Studio Kudra, and you can find our educational projects at biznesfotograficzny.pl.
After many years of digital photography, I also tried analog photography — something I always wanted to do. In 2021, I finally started and fell in love with it. I was looking for a simple way to show emotions. I found it in Polaroid film. For me, Polaroid is a way to tell stories — honest, natural, and real. Eight photos to show a person or a place as they are. No filters. No pretending.
My photography style is one of mindfulness. I love minimalism. I look for geometry and strong contrasts in my shots. I'm inspired by the world around me. Both the rush and its peace and quiet. I love going on mindful photo walks, where I search for the perfect shot. I also love losing myself in music and interpreting sounds into images. This truly sparks my imagination and is a source of much inspiration.
