ASR1000 Solar Powered 4G Router-EU(CE)

The Brinno ASR1000-C is a solar-powered 4G LTE router designed to provide internet connectivity at construction sites and remote locations without access to mains power or an existing Wi-Fi network. Combining a solar panel, rechargeable battery and 4G connectivity, it creates a wireless network that allows up to 20 Brinno BCC5000 time lapse cameras to connect to Brinno Cloud for remote monitoring and management.

The ASR1000-C features an integrated 15 W monocrystalline solar panel with a conversion efficiency of 22–24%, helping maintain power even during periods of cloudy weather. A built-in 20,000 mAh rechargeable battery provides up to three days of operation without solar charging, reducing the need for regular site visits.

The battery can also be charged through USB-C before installation or when additional charging is required. Actual operating time depends on sunlight, temperature and network usage, particularly during winter months when daylight is limited.

Using a 4G LTE mobile connection, the ASR1000-C creates a local 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network for up to 20 Brinno BCC5000 cameras. All connected cameras can share a single SIM card and mobile data plan, simplifying installation and reducing connectivity costs when documenting larger projects.

The recommended wireless distance between the router and connected cameras is up to 50 metres, extending to 100 metres under optimal conditions. Through Brinno Cloud, connected cameras can be accessed and managed remotely without having to visit the installation site.

Designed for permanent outdoor installations, the ASR1000-C features an IPX5 water resistance rating, protecting it against rain and water jets. It operates in temperatures from -20°C to +80°C and includes a wall mount for installation in a suitable location with access to daylight and mobile network coverage.

The ASR1000-C is the CE-certified European version, supporting 4G LTE frequency bands commonly used by European mobile operators. A Nano SIM card with an active data plan is required and must be purchased separately.

The router powers its own network connection and does not provide power to connected cameras.
