Chasing M2 S 2.0 Grabber Arm 2
Chasing M2 S 2.0 Grabber Arm 2 is a modular underwater manipulation tool for gripping, dragging and sampling tasks. It comes with a standard two-jaw clamp and is designed so the tool head can be replaced, allowing the same arm to support different underwater work depending on the accessory fitted.
Strong grip with a wide opening
The Grabber Arm 2 provides a maximum gripping force of 7 kg and opens up to 170 mm. This combination allows the arm to handle a variety of objects during inspection, recovery and sampling work. The standard two-jaw clamp is suitable for general gripping and can be removed when another compatible tool head is required.
Replaceable tool-head system
Unlike a fixed gripper, Grabber Arm 2 supports interchangeable heads such as a sediment sampler or circular claw. This makes it possible to adapt the same arm to different tasks without replacing the complete accessory. The 10-degree elevated mounting design also helps keep the working area visible to the ROV camera while the arm is being operated.
Compact construction for underwater use
The aluminium alloy main body measures approximately 380 x 35 x 35 mm and weighs 446 g. The included two-jaw clamp measures approximately 125 x 53 x 22 mm and weighs 76 g. The system is rated for operation down to 100 m, matching the maximum diving depth of the M2 S.
