High-speed ISO 400 color negative film with vivid color, fine grain and sharp detail for everyday, action and lower-light photography. 35 mm format, 3 rolls with 36 exposures each.

More flexibility for action and lower light

The ISO 400 speed makes ULTRAMAX 400 useful when light levels fall or when faster shutter speeds are needed. Kodak highlights improved low-light performance, extended flash range, better action photography and reduced effects of camera shake, making it a practical film for spontaneous everyday shooting, travel and moving subjects.

What´s the difference between different Kodak manufacturers?

Historically, Eastman Kodak manufactured Kodak photographic film while Kodak Alaris handled its marketing and distribution. Since early 2026 Eastman Kodak has re-entered the still-film market directly, ending Kodak Alaris’s exclusive distribution role. As a result, some of the same Eastman Kodak-manufactured films are now reaching the market through two different Kodak channels.
