Independent spotlight and floodlight can run separately or combine for a 1600-lumen Instant Turbo, which is unusual for an EDC light this size. A 365 nm UV light and a red laser sit alongside the white output, each on its own switch.
Light and performance
The handheld format gives direct control of the beam and makes the light easy to aim. The mode set covers 19 modes, with five spotlight levels, five floodlight levels, Instant Turbo, Strobe, UV light, a red laser and five colourful scene modes on the ring and tail. Spot and flood are independent, so the beam can be set for distance or close work without cycling through the other light sources. Turbo combines both beams for maximum output when it is needed at once. It is suitable for everyday carry, inspection work, a kit bag or vehicle.
Power, handling and durability
The built-in 1650 mAh battery gives a maximum runtime of 111 hours in Eco mode and charges through a USB-C port protected against dust and water ingress. The control layout uses a dual-switch system with a neck-mounted switch and a tail switch, plus separate switches for each light source, so nothing has to be cycled through. Each light source operates independently. The construction is made for real use, with a flat body designed for pocket carry. Useful details include the 365 nm UV light for inspection and authentication and the 650 nm red laser for pointing out detail at distance.
