Light and performance
The handheld format gives direct control of the beam and makes the light easy to aim. The mode set covers six lighting modes from a single side switch, including a moonlight mode for up-close tasks where full output would be too much. There is no tail switch, so everything runs from one control. Colour temperature is around 6000 K. It is suitable for everyday carry, a kit bag, vehicle or emergency kit.
Power, handling and durability
The included ARB-L16-800P 16340 Li-ion battery charges through the USB-C port in one hour and twenty minutes, and one CR123A lithium battery can be used instead, though it is not rechargeable and is not included. The side switch includes a battery level indicator. The light can be locked electronically with a double click or physically with the pocket clip. The construction is made for real use, with high-strength oxidation-resistant aluminium and waterproofing to 2 m. Useful details include the magnetic tail and the two-way pocket clip for bezel-up or bezel-down carry.
