Three separate switches handle all functions, including instant Strobe, and the included 18650 battery charges in the light over USB-C. Two CR123A cells work as backup power.
Light and performance
The handheld format gives direct control of the beam and makes the light easy to aim. The mode set covers seven modes, with five white light levels plus independent red and green light, and Strobe is directly available. Red light preserves night vision and green suits observation work, which is why the combination is common in hunting and enforcement use. It is suitable for a duty belt, kit bag, vehicle or outdoor pack.
Power, handling and durability
The included ARB-L18-3400 18650 battery charges through the inner waterproof USB-C port, and two CR123A batteries can be used instead. A battery level indicator displays the battery status each time the light is switched on. The control layout uses three independent switches, dual tail switches plus a side switch, so each light source can be reached directly. The construction is made for real use, with a premium aluminium body that is waterproof and dustproof, and a strike bezel. Useful details include the supplied holster and spare switch boot.
