Pentax HD FA 50MM F/1.4 is a compact and lightweight lens designed with the latest, high-quality, multi-layer HD coating to ensure high-contrast images with edge-to-edge sharpness. The lens produces minimal flare and ghosting, even in challenging lighting conditions such as backlighting. The exterior of the lens design matches the current DA, D FA series lenses.
The lens have an optical construction that consists of 7 elements in 6 groups. The diaphragm-design of the lens consists of eight blades, and between F/1.4 and F/2.8 it provides a soft, natural round bokeh while also minimizing the fringing effect of punctual light sources.
