Laowa 17mm f/4 Zero-D Tilt-Shift
Laowa 17mm f/4 Zero-D Tilt-Shift has a optical design consists of 18 elements in 12 groups and delivers a 104-degree angle of view. Laowa's Zero-D construction minimises optical distortion and eliminates the keystone effect, correcting perspective optically rather than in post-processing. The tilt function allows the focal plane to be angled relative to the sensor, which can be used to extend depth of field across a scene or to create a shallow-focus miniature effect with a wide-angle lens. The 14-blade aperture produces rounded bokeh and a soft sunstar effect when stopped down. Minimum focusing distance is 25cm.
The lens body includes an integrated Arca-Swiss tripod foot for direct mounting without additional plates, and a 360-degree rotation mechanism with clicks every 15 degrees for switching between vertical, horizontal, and diagonal orientations. The front filter thread is 86mm. When used on medium-format mirrorless cameras, shift is limited to 8mm.
Available in Sony E, Canon RF, Nikon Z, L-Mount, Fujifilm GFX, and Hasselblad XCD. The L-Mount version is not compatible with the Panasonic Lumix S5 II, S5 IIX, S1 II, S1 IIE, or S1R II. Manual focus only.
