The SIRUI Night Walker 35 mm T1.2 combines a bright aperture with purpose-built manual cine controls for Super 35 filmmaking. Its focal length suits dialogue, reportage and narrative scenes with a natural sense of perspective, while the Canon RF version integrates into a matched set of Night Walker primes.
Low-light filming and image character
The fast T1.2 aperture is useful when working with available light and creates pronounced subject separation without requiring an extremely bright set. Its cine-style controls give a more predictable feel than a typical photography lens when repeating focus moves.
Manual controls for repeatable takes
This Canon RF version has a 270° focus throw, a stepless aperture ring and standard focus gearing. The 67 mm filter thread and aligned control positions across the Night Walker series make it easier to build a consistent multi-lens rig. Minimum focusing distance is 0.40 m.
ED and high-refractive-index glass are used in the Night Walker optical design to help control aberrations, while restrained focus breathing helps keep framing steadier during a focus pull. Aluminium-alloy construction suits regular production use.
