SmallRig 5642 Cage for Sony Alpha 1 II / Alpha 9 III
Equipped with multiple mounting interfaces - including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 1/4"-20 locating holes, 3/8"-16 threaded holes, and ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes - this cage accommodates a variety of accessories.
These include SmallRig side handles and top handles for smooth camera movements. Monitor mounts, tripods, power bank holders and mini V-mount battery plates.
The side also features a 1/4"-20 locating hole for mounting single rod clamps, magic arms and side handles.
On the left side, the cage integrates a "HawkLock" quick release NATO rail for quick attachment and detachment of SmallRig "Hawklock" side handles.
Additional mounting points include a cold shoe mount for microphones and lights, a strap slot for wrist straps and a QD socket for shoulder straps.
The bottom of the cage features an Arca-Swiss quick release plate for direct mounting to Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro gimbals, enabling rapid transitions between stabilizer, handheld, and tripod setups.
Additionally, the cage is finished with a premium wear-resistant coating, ensuring it maintains a professional aesthetic even after rugged field use. A built-in double head wrench at the bottom facilitates easy assembly and disassembly.
