Sorin Chineata's connection to photography began more than ten years ago, when he first picked up a camera as a hobby. Over the past few years, that hobby has evolved into a dedicated practice of documenting his mountain hikes, combining a lifelong passion for the outdoors with the craft of visual storytelling. Today, based in Bucharest, he works as a content creator focused on landscape, nature, astrophotography, wildlife, and travel.
Sorin's work is shaped by the places he chooses to explore. He has led ambitious photo and video expeditions to some of the world's most demanding environments, including the Everest Base Camp trek and a Kilimanjaro and safari expedition in Tanzania. These journeys reflect not only his technical skill but also his willingness to carry a camera into places where conditions are unpredictable and every frame has to be earned.
His style is natural and rough at times, mirroring the landscapes he loves most. Nature as a whole inspires him, and mountains in particular, whose scale and quiet drama continue to shape the way he sees and shoots. Looking ahead, Sorin's dream is to photograph and film safaris around the world and to reach the highest peaks on every continent, bringing back stories from each.
