Focus Nordic offers a wide selection of professional cinema lenses for video camcorders, DSLR cameras and digital cameras that suit all different video productions and purposes. Here you will find all cinema lenses and lens accessories you need to create impressive and professional video quality with cinematic effects. In our assortment of video lenses, you will find anamorphic lenses, macro lenses, wide angle lenses, tele lenses, zoom lenses and teleconverters.

Anamorphic lenses

An anamorphic lens is the perfect lens to create the unique cinematic look, just as in Hollywood productions. Anamorphic lenses allow you to film wide screen footage in proper 2.39:1 aspect ratio. They will also stretch the flaring, which gives a unique and cool effect to the footage. Among our anamorphic lenses, you will find high-quality and affordable lenses from Sirui.

Zoom lenses

Zoom lenses are perfect for a wide range of video productions where you want the possibility to zoom in and get up close to an object or subject. We offer top quality zoom lenses from some of the world leading lens manufacturers such as Zeiss and Tokina.

Wide angle lenses

If you are shooting content with landscapes or just want to show the scenery as close to what you see with your own eyes, wide angle lenses are a must-have for you. They are versatile and perfect for all productions where you have less need for close-up shots. In our assortment of wide angle lenses, you will find lenses from well-known brands such as Samyang, Zeiss and Tokina.

Macro lenses

A macro lens will do the job for those who are interested in nature and wildlife content and want to take very good close-up shots of insects, flowers and other small objects. We have macro lenses for a variety of different camera mounts and manufacturers from Tokina.

Telephoto lenses

Filming or broadcasting interviews can be challenging if you don’t have the best suited lens for it. A cine telephoto lens has almost no focus breathing, which gives you really smooth transitions when you change focus. Telephoto lenses are great if you want to film professional interviews and other activities where you need to separate the subject from the background and create an distinct look. We offer high quality telephoto lenses from brands such as Zeiss, Samyang and Tokina.

Explore our range of cine lenses

What makes a good cinema lens? There are a few parameters which define a good cine lens. They need to be sturdy built for heavy use and to withstand harsh weather conditions. Another important feature of a cine lens is its ability to maintain focus on moving subjects or smoothly switch focus from one subject to the other. That is why a precise focus control matter a lot.

Unlike normal still photo lenses, cine lenses have iris rings with T-stop markings. The T-stop marking allows you to see the exact measure of the amount of light that passes through the lens. This gives you a high-precision manual control over the exposure and allows you to maintain the exposure in every scene, regardless of the weather and ambient exposure.

For most cinema lenses, the focal length is changed internally. This means that the lens doesn’t expand or change in length when it adjusts. This is valuable and convenient for filmmakers, especially when shooting in confined spaces when you need a compact and short rig or when the camera rig is mounted on a gimbal or stabilizer system that can be thrown off balance by a slight change in focal length.

Find the perfect cine lens for your needs

Different cine lenses have different build qualities and optical coatings, which impacts how light bounces within the lens and the amount of flair you will get in the video footage. To find the perfect cine lens for your film production, you should consider the amount of flare produced by the lens. Minimal flare is optimal for interviews, documentary sequences and nature films, while anamorphic lenses are perfect for cinematic film, action and sci-fi movies. Zoom lenses with parfocal give you the same focus no matter what focal distance you are shooting at.
